An emission test is mandatory for all vehicles that are powered by fossil fuels, have a
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 10,000 lbs. or less, or are more than 4 model years old
(but less than 25 years old).
We offer quick, no wait, no appointment needed, State Emission Testing, that is required every two years. Vin verification services are also offered.
We follow all the State Regulations
- All emission tests cost $20 (cash only at our station)
- Testing takes approximately 10-15 minutes
- Once the test if done, you will receive a copy of the Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR)
- If your vehicle fails the test you will be provided with information and a repair form
- All failed vehicles receive a free retest within 60 days of the original test.
This retest can be preformed at any CT Certified Test Station
